Nina Africa has spent the last seven and a half years studying architecture but never has she experienced the integration of culture, architecture and building so fully as the Spirit of Place project. She's most looking forward to immersing herself in the language of the Finnish culture and Kalevala during the trip (starting next week!) and has relished in the richness of the tales and strong connection to the land.
